Position Requirements: 

• Current valid Utah Massage Therapist license. (adhere to local and state licensing laws and regulations.)
• Must carry professional liability insurance, with Massage Essentials listed as an additional insured.
• Professional communication skills with clients, clinic management and other staff.
• Ability to assess client needs and tailor treatment plan, greeting and thanking clients by name.
• Non-smoker.
• Ability / willingness to work flexible days and hours.
• Ability to perform Swedish, Deep Tissue, and Therapeutic massage and bodywork. Knowledge of other massage modalities are a plus.
• Understands and believes in the healing benefits of massage therapy.

• Physical Stamina.

Principle Duties Include:

• Perform 60 / 90 / 120 minute quality massages during your shift.
• Design individualized massage sessions based on client requests and preferences.
• Create excellent experience for clients through professional and friendly attitudes.
• Promote health and wellness benefits of a client receiving regular massage therapy, by encouraging and scheduling follow up visits.
• Maintain professionalism and cleanliness of therapy rooms and common areas.
• Document clients’ condition and progress through use of SOAP notes.
• Maintain personal schedule.
